Monobloco Workshops
WE are very proud to announce that on Sunday 6th of April there will be an introductory
workshop covering the rhythms and songs of Monobloco, Rio's no 1 street carnival band. This workshop
will be an opportunity for new members to join the project and become part of Bloco Brigantes the new bloco for the North
East of England
These classes will take place at a Venue in Leeds between 12.00pm and 6.00pm and will
be hosted by Honeydrum and led by JP.Courtney (Musical Director of
Toque Tambor). JP plays with Monobloco. He is an amazing teacher
and player.
Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to learn and play some top samba grooves with a top samba Band.

Day of Dance in Saltaire
10th May is the 14th aniversary of the Day of Dance and honeydrum will be there to support this very special fundraising event that opens up the world of dance to all.
Alicja of honeydrum with members of the One Collective Dance troup will be hosting an
Afro-Brazilian Dance workshop at 3pm to live music by honeydrum.
Later from 8pm till 11pm we will be playing and dancing up a storm with rhythms from
Cuba, Africa and Brazil.
